Shipping to the United States of America

Customers in the United States of America are required, under US import regulations, to obtain a valid plant import permit before bulbs can be shipped. This permit is a legal requirement and must be applied for by the customer.

The approved import permit must be printed and included inside the parcel containing your bulb consignment. Without this documentation, shipments may be delayed, returned, or destroyed by US authorities.

The permit application process is managed by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) and is generally a straightforward, step-by-step online form. However, as we are not US citizens or residents, we are unable to access or complete the application on your behalf.

We strongly recommend applying for your permit well in advance of placing an order, to ensure there are no delays when your bulbs are ready for dispatch.

Carriage for Accessories

Accessories purchased from Esker Farm  are dispatched separately from bulbs and plants. This ensures that items such as tools, printed materials, and other accessories arrive safely and in the best possible condition, without being affected by the specialist packing and seasonal dispatch requirements of live bulbs.

Carriage charges for accessories are applied per order and are calculated based on destination:

  • UK & Ireland: £3.50

  • Europe: £10.00

  • Rest of the World: £15.00

These charges cover careful packing and standard delivery services appropriate for each region.

Please note that accessories cannot be combined with bulb orders for shipping. If you are placing both a bulb order and an accessory order, carriage will be applied separately to each, in line with their respective delivery requirements.
