SIGNET RING, Late mid-season. (B.S. Duncan). Cupid's Eye x Sandycove.[D 2817]. A wonderfully consistent flower with a lovely round, smooth, braodly ovate and overlapping perianth that, in some seasons, tones from pure white at opening to creamy yellow. In either guise it is a delightful exhibition bloom. The green eyed saucer-shaped corona changes from yellow to white in the mid-zone and has a really lovely, coral-pink band at the brim. It was a subject of a Daffnet naming competition. First RHS Late show 2011.
